About the course
OMP is like no other birth education class out there!
You will learn practical evidence -based strategies to: encourage better fetal positioning, shorten your labour, reduce interventions risks and help create a more comfortable and empowering birth experience.
Labour progression isn’t just about dilation – it’s about how your baby moves into, through, and out of your pelvis. Yet, traditional birth education often focuses solely on dilation, overlooking a key factor in achieving a smoother labour.

Testimonial
Danae is inspirational. She is not only incredibly well informed about all aspects of birth (she’s up to date with the very latest medical publications so can communicate with OBs using their language…as well as having a vast network of alternative therapist contacts she can link you in with) – but she is also an excellent teacher. Her presentation of the information is really clear and engaging. She gives lots of practical demonstrations and goes into the “why” behind various options, so you leave feeling empowered to make educated birth choices.
She covers in detail how best to prepare your body for labour. She teaches you about what happens physiologically in birth, and what movements and positions you can use in various stages. Her course also covers situations when your body and baby are misaligned and how you might over come this through movement, rather than struggling and ending up with unnecessary interventions.
Her explanations about the various bone, ligament and muscular structures in the pelvis contextualises the positions and movements she teaches, and leaves you with a new perspective on birth far beyond first/second/third stage of labour.
Danae also offers on going support through her yoga classes and is really responsive to ad hoc questions before and after the course.
We cannot recommend this course and Danae highly enough.
